Monday PIR 5/3 Follow-Up

110 Racers came out and braved some fierce winds last night! I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m ready for some nice warm, sunny summer racing.

Results from last night are up – check them out! This week began a new monthly series.

Pat Malach from Oregon Cycling Action came out and took some great photos. Check out the gallery!

Other Reminders:

If you haven’t picked up your April Series Prizes yet and you were in the top 3, you can do so at next week’s race. The monthly winners jerseys will be ready soon!

We’ll have Blue demo bikes out at Monday PIR in the near future – be sure to check them out.

Oregon Cycling Action T-Shirts are available for purchase!

If you need a snack before the races, you can purchase a Dr. Will Bar at the registration table for $1.50. They’re delicious and will easily get you through the entire race.

April 26 Racing

Racing continues tomorrow evening! Monthly series winners will be determined based upon combined results from 4/19 and 4/26.

Schedule:

5:45PM – Intro to racing clinic with Chris Swan from Upper Echelon Fitness
6:15pm Novice Masters Men (aged 30+)
6:20pm Novice Women (any age)
6:35pm Open Women (Category 1/2/3/4, any age)
6:43pm Masters Men 30+ (Category 1/2/3)
6:45pm Masters Men 30+ (Category 4/5)

Cost is $15 for entry, and the clinic is only $5 more. Team and individual pass options are also available.

The race direction will be counter-clockwise, so numbers go on the LEFT.

Registration will begin at 5PM.
